Welcome to Electric Braids LLC. By using our website or services, you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please discontinue use.
1. Overview
Electric Braids LLC is a Maine-registered business offering festival braiding, beauty services, and related products online and in person.
2. Eligibility
You must be 18 or older (or have guardian consent) and use the Site only for lawful purposes.
We may refuse service to anyone violating these Terms or Maine law.
3. Products & Bookings
We strive for accurate product images and descriptions but do not guarantee color accuracy or availability.
Bookings require accurate information and any listed deposit. Missed appointments may result in a forfeited deposit.
4. Payments
Payments are processed through secure third-party processors (Stripe, PayPal, Square).
By purchasing, you authorize us to charge your payment method for the total amount including Maine sales tax and shipping.
5. Shipping
Orders are sent to the address you provide. We’re not responsible for delays or packages marked “delivered.” Contact us for help if issues arise.
6. Returns & Exchanges
Because many items are custom or hygienic, all sales are final unless an item is defective or incorrect. Claims must be filed within 7 days of delivery.
Maine’s Implied Warranty of Merchantability (Title 11 §2-314) applies to qualifying products.
7. Intellectual Property
All content (photos, text, logos, videos) belongs to Electric Braids LLC or its creators.
Do not copy or use materials without written permission.
8. Social Media & User Content
By tagging or submitting content featuring Electric Braids, you grant us permission to repost or share your content with credit. Email us to request removal.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by Maine law, we are not liable for:
Indirect or incidental damages;
Injuries or allergic reactions from products or services;
Service interruptions or data loss outside our control.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Electric Braids LLC and its owners from any claims arising from your use of our Site or Services.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. The latest version will appear here with a new “Last Updated” date. Continued use means you accept the changes.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maine. Any disputes will be resolved in the Cumberland County District Court or U.S. District Court for the District of Maine.
